Attorney at Law

CJ Bauer is an Attorney at Law at Vinson Law, specializing in civil litigation with a particular focus on asbestos-related cases. CJ graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law in May 2021. During law school, he was an active member of Nova Law Review, the Nova Trial Association, and Nova’s Moot Court Team. Recognized by his peers as the most well-rounded law student in the graduating class, CJ was inducted into the Order of the Barristers, reflecting his commitment to excellence in advocacy. Before law school, CJ attended the University of South Florida, graduating with honors in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.

Prior to joining Vinson Law, CJ spent three years as a prosecutor in Pinellas County, Florida, where he tried over 25 jury trials to verdict, handling both misdemeanor and serious felony cases. As a former prosecutor, CJ knows how to fight for what is right, and his courtroom experience has forged him into an experienced trial attorney at a young age; he is not afraid of the courtroom and embraces the challenges it presents. CJ understands the complexities associated with the litigation process. He is focused on obtaining the best results possible for his clients and will not stop working until the job is complete. His prior experience, coupled with his eagerness and passion to learn, puts him in a unique position to zealously advocate for his clients.

Raised by a United States Navy Veteran—his father, who served on the USS Papago—CJ treats his clients like family, ensuring they feel supported throughout their legal journey. Outside of the office, CJ enjoys attending sporting events, going on vacation, and being a father to his dog, Pajamas. A lifelong resident of Florida, CJ has deep roots in the greater Tampa Bay area. CJ looks forward to making a positive impact in the lives of clients navigating the challenges of asbestos-related claims.
