Eric Debus

Associate Attorney

Eric is a licensed attorney who graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 2023 with a concentration in Veterans Advocacy. At Stetson, Eric served as a teacher’s assistant at the University’s Veterans Advocacy Clinic, where he assisted Veterans in acquiring VA disability ratings and helped law students understand the claims process. Additionally, Eric spent his time at the clinic helping Veterans appeal adverse rating decisions, advocating for higher ratings for his clients in front of the Board of Veterans’ Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. During his time at Stetson, Eric earned the William F. Blews Pro Bono Award, which is given to students who complete at least double the minimum amount of bono hours required to graduate.

Before attending law school, Eric worked for a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that specialized in providing renovations and upgrades to VA Medical Centers and other government facilities in order to better the quality of care that Veterans receive at treatment facilities.

Eric has been a Floridian his entire life, and graduated from the University of Florida (UF) in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in political science.
